BRES 8th grade students were immersed in the Sir Ernest Shackleton’s Antarctic Expedition. They mapped out the life rafts used to row to Elephant Island and South Georgia. They ate ‘hoosh” - the food of the expedition, and went and saw an Arctic ship being restored at The Shipyard in Boothbay Harbor.
