March is Youth Art Month celebrating arts education. At BRES we have many events planned to highlight arts education. One of our most popular events from past years has been the Wednesday Picnic Concert Series which will begin again on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020.
Students are asked to bring a towel or blanket to sit on during lunch. They eat lunch seated on the floor while listening and watching local performers. Families and school community are invited to come and join their students during lunch in what has become a fun opportunity for sharing among all the ages. (K-4th 10:45 - 11:15, 5-6th 11:15 - 11:35, 7-8ht 11:35-11:50)
Our first performer, Gray Ferris, is new to the BRES community having joined the staff this year supporting students in Grades 4,5, and 6. He is a professional French Horn player when he isn’t teaching. He plans to play by himself and with some friends. Come share the excitement! ❤️😀
