Boothbay Region Education Foundation 2020
Dear friends of Boothbay Region Schools,

Here at the Boothbay Region Education Foundation our mission is to enrich the educational experiences of students and teachers in ways that cannot usually be addressed through traditional methods of funding. By providing innovative resources and tools, we have helped students learn skills to be successful in their future careers. As we face another potentially challenging year, we need your help more than ever in continuing to invest in innovation in our classrooms, and supporting our teachers as they navigate these uncharted waters.

  • During the spring COVID shut-down, our schools continued to provide hundreds of daily meals to students operating at a significant deficit. We were able to off-set $28,870 of the costs. Read More.
  • We funded the Boothbay Region Chamber's outstanding teacher award for Nick Scott.
  • We recently approved the purchase of a new 4' x 4' CNC router. We are now looking for donations to cover installation costs.
Since its inception, the Foundation has raised over $100,000 for our schools. Past projects include a 3D printer and CAD laser cutter. As a 501(c)3 organization, the Foundation offers an opportunity for citizens to make a tax-free donation to support and strengthen our schools. Thank you for supporting our students and teachers by donating online or mailing a check to the Boothbay Region Education Foundation.

Sincerely, Keith S. Laser, Ed.D. Superintendent, AOS 98
